Simple Project Management Software

My husband just recently used Trello, one of simple project management sofware, to manage tasks between his project members. For your information, he is programmer with mechanical engineering background. On the other day, I saw him downloading project management e-book. This is quite interesting behavior.

Two years ago, when I was working in Senoro Gas Development Project, one of my colleague, who are planning and schedule, usually used Primavera as project management tools. It was a quite professional and advance tools.

I was wondering, if maybe there are several simple project management software that I and my team can use. The software should be simple enough, easy to use, and easy to customize.

In this post, I want to share you several simple project management software and my experience trying them. Read More

My Little Trip to Yogyakarta Related to Project of The Year and Culinary Experience

Last week, I had a little trip to Yogyakarta related to this post. It was quite nice experience, despite of my role in this trip. Me and my team were supporting members of this meeting. If supplementary explanation is required, then we help.

Visiting Drinking Water Treatment Plant in Tirtawening

On December 2017, I got an opportunity to visit drinking water treatment plant in Tirtawening, Bandung, which is near my college. It was a very amazing experience, because this is my first experience visiting water treatment plant. And also, experience like this is very rare after I entered working environment.

This site visit is actually a part of water treatment plant training. I will share you about this training in different post.

Drinking water treatment facility in Tirtawening is actually the biggest one in Indonesia. It processed 2000 liter/second water, from two trains (rate of each trains is 1000 liter/second). 1900 liter/second water is sent to customers and 100 liter/second water is own used. Read More

Pre-FEED is My Second Project of The Year

Pre-FEED (Preliminary Front End Engineering Design) is my second project of the year. This is not the first time for me, especially Pre-FEED of oil and gas surface facility. However, the complexity is completely different from the previous one. I can say, this one is much more challenging.

The Pre-FEED I worked on is for Plan of Development (POD). Through POD, SKK Migas (Indonesia Special Task Force for Oil and Gas) along with KKKS (Cooperative Contract Contractor) are able to produce hydrocarbon reserve (which is national asset) very well, by considering both technical and commercial aspect, so that it will give benefit for Indonesia and fair benefit for KKKS.

How can Pre-FEED has something to do with POD? Read More

I’ve learnt many things during this year. In this very first post of the year, I want to share you what projects I have done and on-going at the moment. Hopefully you can enjoy it.

At the beginning of the year, I had a small scale geothermal power plant. It was my very first geothermal power plant project. So, I was very excited and of course… worried. Read More
